ANXIETY

Anxiety is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences at times.  For example, many people experience anxiety or feel nervous when making a change, prior to taking a test, giving a speech, when faced with a problem at work, or making life decisions.  Nevertheless, anxiety disorders are different, because the worry they cause impedes an individual’s ability to live a healthy life.  For example, anxiety disorders can interfere with an individual’s ability to function in personal (self), family, love (intimate relationships), social, work, and/or spiritual situations.
